My mother taught me crochet ‘art’ when I was seven. I am now 77 and love remembering these days. She made gorgeous doilies utilizing the pineapple stitch. I haven’t mastered the art as well as she. I still enjoy sitting evenings, making caps, scarves, etc. People enjoy hand made gifts so much. So I give most all the things away. It is really an art.
